The Tooth Fairy is somewhat unreliable at our house. The girls (mainly Ellie) have taken to corresponding with her and don't seem to have a problem with the two or three day wait. Tonight Fin gets her first payoff, and a personal note (courtesy of Jane).

Christmas Eve

We've almost finished our traditional Dec 24th shopping. Joey, Fin and I are taking our McDonalds lunch break (also a tradition). Joey says that he is still looking for his Christmas spirit and might find it by easter.

Mortality

I was almost over the mortality kick I've been on since my dad died last year when I got word that an old friend who was exactly a year younger than me had passed on Monday. Calling hours today didn't exactly help.
I'm going to go read and try to get my mind off of this shit.
